Nice Airport to Cannes transfer: price, travel time and private driver

How long the drive really takes

The direct route is the A8 motorway. On a Tuesday morning it takes half an hour. On a Friday evening in July, or at rush hour near Sophia-Antipolis, add up to 20 minutes.

When the A8 is jammed, your driver can take the coast road through Antibes and Golfe-Juan instead. It is longer in kilometres, but sometimes moves better when the motorway is blocked. The call is made on the day, based on live traffic.

Nice Airport to Cannes transfer prices

Film Festival, MIPIM, Cannes Lions: book early

Four big events fill Cannes every year: MIPIM in March, the Film Festival in May, Cannes Lions in June, MIPCOM in October. During those weeks, cars get booked fast and traffic around the Croisette is often restricted.

During the Festival, access to the streets around the Palais des Festivals is limited to accredited vehicles. Your driver drops you at the nearest permitted point, a few minutes’ walk away. If you are flying in for a show, book as soon as your flights are set.

Can I book the ride back from Cannes to the airport at the same time?

Yes, choose “Round trip” in the form. The return leg is priced separately, at its own time.

Can I go from Cannes to Monaco during my stay?

Yes. A ride between two towns is booked just like an airport transfer: enter both addresses.

Can I keep a driver for several hours in Cannes?
